The still unbeaten Apple Valley Pee Wee C Team was celebrating with their chant, “Together We Achieve More” after their championship game victory over Moundsview in the 2015 Tartan Cup. The attitude reflected in their spontaneous chant reflects their willingness to put the team first and for everyone to contribute in all aspects of the game. Great coaching has helped instill a focus on “we” and not “me”. These Eagles have now won four tournament championships this year! They started the weekend against the home team Tartan Titans and came away with a hard fought 5-2 win. They continued Saturday with superb passing, hustle, and team play beating Woodbury 10-1. Sunday they faced a Moundsview team that had not allowed any goals in the tournament and after trailing early, the Eagles used their great conditioning, hard skating and sheer determination to cruise to an 8-2 victory. These boys exhibit sportsmanship, teamwork and a willingness to work hard in every practice, scrimmage and game. GREAT JOB BOYS!!!
