2014 - 2015 AV Eagles are Flying High!!!
The Apple Valley Boys Bantam B2 team skated away with first place in the Woodchipper Classic Hockey Tournament in Fargo.
Click HERE for more information on their journey to the trophy!
The PWC Team continued its undefeated ways at the Saber Paw Classic Tournament by beating Mankato (3-0), Shakopee (5-2) Mahtomedi (6-1), and Lakeville North (5-0) in a set of strong tourney games. Great coaching has developed unselfish play and great team chemistry. With every member making strong contributions at both ends of the ice the Eagles have been unbeatable in Tourneys and League play. From the strong goal tending, to the stingy defense and speedy offense; these Eagles keep the pressure on opponents for three periods. Great coaching and conditioning help them perform at their best level.
Big congratulations go out to the four Apple Valley mite teams: U8s, Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced!
The teams all competed last week in the Johnson-Como Winter Carnival Mite Jamboree at Phalen Park in St. Paul. Mother Nature cooperated with superb weather for the outdoor event. The hosts ran a well-organized and fun tournament. And AVHA's mite teams made the Association proud with their play and sportsmanship over the course of 12 games.
Apple Valley Hockey's future looks bright!
