The AV Peewee A team had an eventful weekend at the Owatonna tournament Dec 8-10. The weekend started with a Friday evening game vs. Owatonna finishing with a 10-1 victory. Saturday morning game vs. Mounds View/ Irondale was exciting with AV Crowley scoring with less than 2 minutes left in the game, ending in a 2-2 tie. Saturday evening game AV Gilmore with an 8-0 shutout vs. Omaha. Sunday morning they worked hard putting 5 in the back of the net vs. Rochester’s 2. With strong goaltending by Gilmore and Johnson all weekend and the teamwork on the ice, they took 1st place. Congrats AV Peewee A!
