Coach’s/Manager’s Message

The Apple Valley Squirt C team finished in second place in the La Crescent Invitational. The boys played hard during their four games over three days. That hard work earned them enough points for a second place finish and a spot in the championship game. The boys had winning periods against every team they faced! What really impressed the spectators was the tenacity of our team. Our boys never gave up even when they were behind. In the second game, just when it looked as if the game was over, their heart and fight shown through as they scored with 34 seconds left to force a tie! Our team hustled all over the ice and our conditioning often wore down opponents. The coaches work the team hard at practice, teach the boys valuable skills and encourage love of the game- the positive results are showing and the team is improving.
