2008-2009 Tournaments

AVHA will be hosting two Tournaments in the 2008-2009 Season

Bantam C, Pee Wee C and Squirt C - Thanksgiving Weekend Nov. 28 - 30, 2008

Girls 12uA, 10uA and 10uB - January 23 - 25, 2009

These tournaments give teams across the area an opportunity to compete vigorously in a fun environment.  Our emphasis is to get teams and spectators in the door while providing modest revenue for the hockey association.   All past tournaments have been very successful and a lot of fun.  These are very high quality tournaments and we welcome all associations.  The format for all levels will be 8-team brackets; subject to change based on the final number of entries.  Each team is guaranteed three games.

* To make these tournaments more enjoyable for all we will NOT be charging admissions at the door.  Instead each team is required to pay $25 per player/family in the form of one check per team, payable to AVHA prior to taking the ice for their first game. Coaches (up to three per team) and a manager (one per team) are exempt from this fee.
